External Payment Responsibility Acknowledgement

Last updated September 4, 2026

1. When this acknowledgement applies

The Organization named on your join page has chosen to charge for some or all services through its own payment page, provider, bank transfer, cash or another method outside Taikan's integrated payment flow (an External Payment).

2. The Organization owns the payment relationship

The Organization—not Taikan—is the seller, merchant and recipient of an External Payment. The Organization is solely responsible for clearly disclosing and lawfully administering the price, payment authorization, recurring schedule, cancellation date, proportional final charge, refund, receipt or tax invoice, debt collection, chargeback and payment dispute.

Any external payment provider is selected and controlled by the Organization and operates under its own terms. Taikan does not receive card details entered outside Taikan, does not hold those funds and cannot independently initiate, stop, reverse or refund an External Payment.

3. Information shown in Taikan

Taikan may display a payment link or a payment status reported by the Organization or its provider. That display is informational. Delays, omissions or mistakes in external reports can occur, and the provider's and Organization's records determine whether an External Payment actually succeeded, failed, was cancelled or was refunded.

4. Cancellation and refunds

A cancellation notice submitted through Taikan is timestamped and made available to the Organization. Because Taikan cannot control the external payment instruction, the Organization remains responsible for stopping it and processing any final proportional charge or refund by the legal deadline. Follow any additional lawful cancellation channel shown by the Organization and keep your confirmation.

Direct questions about an External Payment, receipt, cancellation, refund or dispute to the Organization and, where relevant, its payment provider or your card issuer. Contact Taikan only about the Platform record or delivery of a notice.

5. Your rights are preserved

This acknowledgement allocates responsibility; it does not waive or reduce any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Protection Law, payment law, privacy law or any other mandatory law. It does not release Taikan from responsibility for the parts of the Platform under Taikan's control, or release the Organization or payment provider from its own acts or legal duties.

6. Evidence of acknowledgement

Your acceptance is recorded for the specific Organization together with the current document version, time and available technical evidence. Acceptance for one Organization does not apply to another Organization.
